God would like to give you a gift

a-present-from-god

God would like to give you a gift. This present comes from His and our hearts to yours. It is freely given, but comes at great personal cost to our Lord — the death of His one and only Son, so that we would be freed from sin (John 3:16-17). Your life is a gift from God. Value it. Share it. Live it.  James 4: 14 says, “How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog–it’s here a little while, then it’s gone” (New Living Translation). Each breath you breathe is a gift from God. Every beat of your heart is a present from our Father. The next second of life is not guaranteed to any one of us. We and our loved ones could die from an accident, natural disaster such as an earthquake, tornado, hurricane, from a fire, terrorist attack or from chronic and/or terminal illness.

You never know when your life, the soul of your outstretched love, will give life to someone else who desperately needs it, who is ready to give up hoping their life will ever get any better.

Two days ago I experienced three life-threatening mast(immune and systemic) cell attacks and a major angina attack from my extremely rare auto immune condition of mastocytosis. This culminated in the symptoms of having a stroke. You know that gut feeling you get when you know something serious has happened to you. Such is the belief of my doctors, paramedics, nursing staff, dearly beloved family, friends, colleagues and us.

Oxygen was applied to minimize the possibility of permanent neurological and organ damage.

There is pronounced weakness along the right side of my body. I have to use my left hand to do most things, because I still have great difficulty using my right hand. My speech is slurred. I have delays in my thinking to speak what I need to say. I am experiencing times of great confusion when I don’t know what to do next.

The wonderful news is that the prayers of my beloved friend and mentor, Dr. Heyward Bruce Ewart (religious name Patriarch Paul or Father Paul), who is a psychotherapist, priest, and President of St. James the Elder Seminary and University,  family, friends and colleagues are working! I am slowly getting better. I can move my right hand and hold on to light objects with it. I can stand for a few seconds without collapsing.

Karen is helping with my correspondence. Please pray for God’s peace, strength and rest for her with the many things she does to take care of me. I am such a blessed man to have her as my wife.

The tremendous blessing through all Karen and I are going through are those deeply comforting and reassuring prayers, we are receiving from so many people. The Lord give His richest blessings to you, your family, church, pastor, minister, rabbi, and all those you hold dear to your heart.

I will need to work with a series of people in my care circle to maximize the miracle God has given us.  I am alive! That is a miracle! Among them will be allopathic and naturopathic doctors, specialists, neurological, speech, occupational and physical therapy. We believe this is because God wants a large number of people in the medical and support care profession to be uplifted, to feel their work makes a huge difference in the quality of our lives.

We will not shirk from the calling God has given us. We will be there to hear your concerns in your inner healing journey. We will stand with you through the storm. We thank you all for your soul-touching, heart-felt and beautiful faithfulness in prayer.

It is our earnest prayer you will see this truth. Your life is a gift from God. That is the present we pray you remember, no matter what you are going through.

We put you back in the hands of our loving Father with these questions to prayerfully consider. Are you willing to give God the gift of your life? For those who know God, are you willing to give over your whole life to Him? Are you willing to go where He calls you, to practice the power of presence, to the hurting and searching?

Thank you, dear readers, for your prayers. You are all a miracle. We urge you never to forget that.

The peace, comfort and protection of our Father be with you!

  1. Father God,

Thank you for the gifts of your son Kevin and your daughter Karen. Lord come now as Jehovah Rapha and begin to restore each cell, nerve, muscle, fiber in Kevin’s body. Father thank you for saving Kevin’s life yet again. Satan you back off of my brother Kevin. He is Gods child and we know your plan devil is to rob, kill, and destroy Kevin and Karen but our Papa God Creator of everything including you has already defined Kevin and Karen as His. So you devil go now. I said go away from these 2 now. Father God will come deal with you. As it is in heaven so it shall be on earth. You devil are already defeated! Father come as Jehovah Nissi and be all that Kevin and Karen need. Meet their needs today God. I ask that as you restore Kevin that He will not go to the dark place of frustrations but that He will like David sing out your praises. Be with Karen as she walks beside her beloved one. Continue to encourage and build them up I pray. Lord thank You that your son Jesus Christ is right now interceding on their behalf to You. God thank you That one day we will see each other in our new bodies perfect and not riddled with sickness or pain. Keep Karen and Kevin and Lord thank You that they are busy transforming our world with Your love. Lord they are faithful and obedient to the call you have placed on their lives. Thank you for healing and keeping them both. I pray a fiery hedge of protection around them and ask that You set forth the detail of the angelic army that you desire around both of them right now. God I pray all of this because of the blood sacrifice of your son Ben Elohim Jesus Christ. His body and blood sacrifice is the reason I am able to pray this. Amen

    • Thank you seems so inadequate, so we’ll just say, “Wow! Thank you God for this faithful soldier in Your army. Send Your richest blessings from the storehouses of Heaven into every area of her life!”

We love you in the Lord!

      Kevin and Karen
